About
The 1:12 Ramp Project is a non-profit organization in the greater Triangle region of North Carolina. Our mission is to improve mobility and accessibility for individuals with disabilities through the construction of high-quality, customized ramps for those who need them at their homes. When someone gets discharged from the hospital, insurance doesn't cover the cost of a ramp- which can be quite pricey. Someone who is a wheelchair user will need a ramp to have safe access into and out of their home. That being said, this non-profit organization was put together to act as a resource to those in our community who are in need of a ramp at their home, but otherwise could not afford one.
Our goal is to improve accessibility one ramp at a time
Our Mission
The 1:12 Ramp Project is dedicated to enhancing accessibility within our community by constructing high quality, handicap-accessible ramps. Our organization aims to remove physical barriers and improve mobility for individuals with disabilities, fostering a more inclusive society.

Our Vision
To become a leading community-focused organization that empowers individuals with disabilities through accessible infrastructure and hands-on education, creating a model for student-led service and accessibility advocacy.
